The new Florida Building Code roofing related changes go into effect on December 31st, 2020.
The 7th Edition (2020) Florida Building Codes revisions include important changes to roof assembly protocols. Some of the key code enhancements apply to new roof construction and roof replacement, improving wind and water infiltration resistance to prevent or minimize building damage.
